The Shadow You Cast (826NYC)

From 826NYC, this collection of thoughtful, original poems–written by tenth graders at Bronx Leadership Academy—invites you explore the conventional and unconventional understandings of heroism.

From courage and morality to apathy and selfishness, these students put the archetype to the test. Proceeds from the sale of this book benefit 826NYC, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting students ages six to eighteen with their creative and expository writing skills, and to helping teachers inspire their students to write.
